Opened in 1913, De Montfort Hall is set in its own grounds on the edge of Victoria Park, just outside Leicester's city centre. The acoustic of the Hall is widely acclaimed for classical concerts, and was described as 'the best hall in England' by Sir Malcolm Sargent.

The venue has a large bar and catoring facilities, but these often are very busy when the venue is holding an act. The venue is conveniently located within 500 metres of a range of bars and pubs with a wide selection for all tastes and styles.

Most admissions are at around 20-30 pounds.
Located just one mile south of Leicester's city centre, the Hall is well sign-posted on the inner ring road. If using the M1 come off at Junction 21 and follow the signs for the outer ring road (Leicester South and East), turning left along the A50 or A6 when sign-posted. Parking is available on the edge of Victoria Park, including two pay and display car parks that are well lit at night.
Train
Leicester's train station is on the Intercity Midland Mainline (London St Pancras 55 mins). The station is on London Road (A6) and is only a 10 minute walk away from the Hall.
