Description
Silverstone is the home of the British Formula 1 Grand Prix. It was built on the site of a former RAF air field and has been host to the British Grand Prix since 1948.
The Lap Distance of the British Grand Prix Circuit is 3.194 miles (5.14 km). The lap record was set in 1997 by Michael Schumacher.

How to get to
Approaching from the M40, exit at Junction 10 (from the South) and follow the A43 signposted to Northampton, or, Junction 11 (from the North) and follow the A442 to the A43. It should take you approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic. Approaching from the M1, exit at Junction 15a and follow signs for the A43 Oxford. It will take you approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
