History

Ericsson stadium is situated in the City of Auckland on the North Island. The stadium formally known has Mt Smart stadium was the main venue for the 1990 Commonwealth games. New Zealand Warriors who play in the Australian national league use the stadium for there home fixtures. On the West side of the stadium there is a two tier grandstand, facing it is the newly built East stand. The East stand was completed in 2005 making it a 25000 all seater stadium. At each end of the ground there are two stands with one level of seating.
