Description

Malaya Sportivnaya Arena is the stadium located in the city of Tiraspol, Moldova. The stadium is located in the large Sheriff Sports Complex. There are three stadiums located within the same complex, which lies on 40 hectares and comes with 9 training fields. There is also a medical center. Generally, it is one of the best sports venues in Europe.

The stadium is the permanent home ground of several tenants, including of FC Sheriff, FC Tighina and FC Tiraspol. It was constructed and opened in 2002. It is an all-seater venue, which is capable of hosting 9,300 people. Thanks to its large capacity, it is the 3rd biggest stadium in the country. The pitch is covered with artificial turf. There is a 6-lane running track located around the pitch. The other names of the stadium are The Small Arena and Malaya Arena. It is a partially covered stadium.

The stadium was significantly renovated in 2011. It can be easy adjusted to match the high UEFA standards, but since it is used only as the secondary stadium, there is no need to do that. However, thanks to all the facilities that it has, its capacity, and a range of its features, it is one of the best stadiums in the country.
