It is a stadium located in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. Fenerbahçe S.K., a football club that was founded in 1907, uses the stadium for their home games and for training. The stadium was constructed in 1908 and became the very first football pitch in Turkey to hold the Istanbul Football League several years in a raw. It was renovated several times, and the last renovations took place in 2006. In 2009, it hosted the UEFA Cup Final.
It has undergone major rebuilding, during which all of the old stands were demolished and new ones constructed instead of them. Now, there are located closer to the football field allowing fans to enjoy a better experience. No running track is constructed between the seats and the pitch.
The Maraton stand is capable of hosting around 14,500 people. It features well-equipped boxes, where people can find cafés, areas for working and, and more. The Fenerium stand is located at the opposite site. This stand is suitable for 15,000 people. It also features boxes and other facilities. All of the seats at this stand are provided with LCD monitors. The other two stands known as the Telsim and Migros are located behind the goals. All in all, the stadium is capable of hosting nearly 48,000 people.
