Description

St Georges Park was constructed in 1888 in Newport, the UK. This football stadium has been the permanent home of Newport F.C for many years. The ground is able to welcome 3200 football fans, and it has 300 seats. The highest attendance at St Georges Park is 3,112 people, which was noted in 2008 during the match between Newport F.C. and Portsmouth F.C.

Recently, the owners of the stadium have announced that Newport F.C. would not be using the ground anymore, which forced the club to start searching for another home immediately. However, according to the deal between the club and South Coast Leisure, Newport F.C. reserved the rights to use the ground during the 2017-2018 seasons. The agreement expires in the middle of May 2018.

The stadium features conference and other facilities. There are two spacious function rooms, and the one located upstairs holds up to 300 seats. There are different bars found in the rooms as well as lots of tables and seats, music facilities, and plenty of on-site parking places. The stadium is located near the Newport Town Centre, and it takes about 10 minutes walking to get there from the ground. It is also possible to use public transport or taxi.
