The Jungle is the permanent home of the Castleford Tigers R.L.C. It is located on Wheldon Road, very near to Castleford town center. The highest attendance of 25,449 people noted in 1935.
Wheldon Road was opened in 1926 and became the home for Castleford Town F.C. In the next year, Castleford R.L.F.C. moved to the ground. For the 1965–66 season, the floodlights were installed at the stadium. During 2000-2010, the stadium was renamed in the Jungle. In 2010, the first sponsor of the stadium became PROBIZ, according to a three-year deal.
Today, it is a nice ground with the wooden main stand. The stadium features various food and drink outlets. There are terracing on three sides of the ground, and seats can be found at the Main Stand. The field can be seen from any part of the ground. There are three covered sides.
